How FireHub works

Control and safety come from seeing how things connect

Documentation alone does not give you an overview. FireHub connects what exists to the building, the people and the history, and shows what still needs to be clarified or followed up.

Fire safety rarely fails at a single point. It fails when documentation, responsibility and follow-up do not come together well enough.

What you have starts to make sense

Start with what you already have. FireHub reads the content, recognises what each document is about and connects the information to the right building and context.

Documentation alone is not enough

FireHub reads the documents and understands what they say about the building, its use, its operation and its fire safety, and how it all fits together. That makes it visible when something is missing, does not add up or should be followed up.

Documents, installations, people, responsibility and history are connected.

Not storage. Connection.
A concrete example

70 metres of cable.
What do we need to know?

FireHub finds an invoice showing extensive cable work on the ground floor. At the same time, the fire strategy shows that the building has walls and floors that are meant to stop fire from spreading. That raises a natural question: were any of them affected?

The signal · Invoicefaktura_2025-0412.pdf · 12.04.2025
“Camera installation at Eat & Go AS. Approx. 70 metres of cable.”

The building's basis · Fire strategyrapport.pdf · 2023 · Rev. B

Approx. 70 m of cable is documented on the ground floor. No later documentation of fire stopping has been found. Jonas Berg is linked to the work. It should be clarified whether the cable runs passed through fire-separating walls or floors.

Jonas, can you confirm how the cables were run, and whether any penetrations were made in walls or floors?

Jonas Berg · Euro Fire

Yes. We made a few small penetrations, and they were sealed. I'll find the documentation and upload it.

Reply confirmed by Jonas Berg. The documentation has still not been received.

Over time

What happens becomes part of the history

Buildings change. Boards change, use changes, suppliers are replaced and documents are updated. FireHub keeps what has been done, clarified and confirmed along the way.

That way the next board chair, property manager or supplier can see what has happened, why it was followed up and what is still open.

FireHub makes it easier to meet and document the duties under Forskrift om brannforebygging (Fire Prevention Regulations), Brann- og eksplosjonsvernloven (Fire and Explosion Protection Act) and Internkontrollforskriften (Internal Control Regulations). Responsibility still lies with the owner and the user.

  1. The board changesNew board chair, same responsibility.
  2. The use changesThe ground-floor office becomes a restaurant.
  3. The supplier is replacedThe annual inspection gets a new contractor.
  4. The document is updatedRev. B becomes Rev. C.

Same building. Different roles. Shared goal

FireHub brings people, documentation, tasks and history together around the same building. Each role sees what is relevant, and access can be opened when needed.
