Fire prevention does not stop at public property
FireHub connects buildings, documentation and people to what needs following up. Everyone can take part at work, and use FireHub Personal free at home.
Same employer. Very different working days
The teacher, the night nurse and the property manager don't need the same information. They need what is relevant where they are.
Thomas
- Caretaker at Solbakken skoleThe alarm system, the doors, the escape routes
- At homeThe smoke alarm and the fire extinguisher
- At the cabinThe fireplace and the way out
- On the boatThe extinguisher on board
At work he gets what he needs in the municipality's buildings. At home he uses FireHub Personal, for free.

Rarely one big mistake. More often many small ones that reinforce each other
A role changes. A report comes in. A drill is missing replies. Each on its own can seem small. Together they can change what should be followed up.
FireHub keeps the matters connected and suggests the next step. Those responsible confirm.

What you learn at work, you can use at home
FireHub Personal is free for private individuals and made for the small actions at home.
- Does the smoke alarm work?
- Do you know how to use the fire extinguisher?
- Is anything missing?

Private answers at home are never shared with the employer.

Same municipality. Different roles when the inspection comes
Property management follows up the buildings. The service follows up the use. The fire prevention officers carry out inspections. The roles are different, even though the municipality is the same.
When the inspection comes, the basis should already be joined up
FireHub makes visible what exists, what is missing and what still needs to be clarified.
- The service answers for its part. The owner for theirs
- The owner chooses the documentation that is shared
- What comes to light is followed up

The public sector sees fire prevention from several sides
Property management sees the buildings. The services see everyday life. Your fire prevention officers see where things slip in practice.
Project Zero is our framework for exploring how technology can make prevention easier to understand, carry out and follow up in everyday life.
Can technology help us keep knowledge alive when people, roles and buildings change?
Technology should not make people less responsible. It should make it easier to understand what matters, act earlier and keep knowledge alive over time.
FireHub does not replace fire inspections or professional judgement.
Four jobs. One responsibility
The municipality does a lot right, each part on its own. Property has the documentation. The school has the routines. The fire service has the inspections. The residents have their homes. What is missing is that they know the same thing.
Same day, same municipality
07.40Bjørnstad school: a temp starts. The head teacher has good fire instructions. They are in the office, and the head teacher is in a meeting until nine.
09.15the property department: the annual inspection of the care home arrived as a PDF, one of forty this week. Three deviations. The one about the escape route from ward B is on page four.
11.00the fire service: inspection of the sports hall next week. The prevention department asks for the documentation by e-mail, as they should. It exists, with three people, and is gathered anew every time.
19.30Storgata 15: the board sends word that the chimney sweep comes on Friday. Everyone reads it. Nobody knows whether the neighbour on the 2nd floor has.
What the municipality is left with
One status for all buildings, with the source behind every point.
Inspections that start with the basis shared, not requested.
Employees who have received what applies to them and confirmed it.
A free tool to point residents to when the fire service informs. No cost per person.

Shared with the prevention department. Task with a 15 October deadline to facilities. Filed to the sports hall.

Hilde Property The inspection started with the basis shared. Not with an e-mail.
When something happens, the question is always the same: did we know? With one basis, the answer is the same for all four.

Situations FireHub resolves
-
There is generally a lot that has to be reported.
FireHub keeps it consistent, with what is fact at the time of reporting.
-
New employees. Who has had the training?
FireHub reads the documentation and builds the training the employees go through. The manager sees the status. The contact person who left gets a successor.
-
The inspection is next week.
The documentation sits with the building, read and sorted. What is missing has already been requested.
How FireHub works in public property management
- 01 Into the building
- Historical documentsPublic records
- Recent documentationThe owner orders it
- NeedsThe board registers
- 02 FireHub
- Reads and understands
- Links it to the building and to the rules of the building’s time
- Sees what is confirmed and what is missing. Asks for the confirmation
- Suggests the next step and asks the person who can answer
- Remembers, also when people change
- 03 Out to each role
Simple, understandable status
- Is notified when the building's records change
- Confirms the suggested follow-up
The rules that apply to you
Public owners often hold many properties, several services and changing uses within the same portfolio
The regulations separate the owner's duties from the user's. They require knowledge of the building, inspection and maintenance, systematic safety work and documentation.
FireHub connects the requirements to the documentation, the use and the follow-up in each building. What still needs clarifying stays visible.
Be part of it from the start. Begin with your buildings
Bring the inspection report from one of your buildings. We start there.
- Start with a limited set of buildings
