Good professional work should not die in a report

VendorHub is the work platform for service providers in the FireHub ecosystem. The person doing the work documents once. The system structures the rest.

Not another customer portal

From deviation to quote, project and documented handover

The technician records the findings in the building, once. The office uses the same record for the report, the quote and the handover.

VendorHub

The suppliers’ work platform

  • See which reports and deviations are waiting for review.
  • Follow quotes, projects, hours and margin.
  • Give the customer documentation that can be followed up in FireHub.
Before, during and after the job

Vendors lose time when the assignment starts without the right information

Many vendors spend unnecessary time finding contact persons, understanding history, requesting documentation, and explaining the same finding several times. VendorHub gathers assignment details, source material, reporting, and continued follow-up in the same flow.

On the way to a job

I want to know what is waiting before I arrive.

FIREHUB HELPSThe job comes with drawings, history and a contact person.

In the field

I dictate my findings where I stand, so I don't have to type them in again at the office.

FIREHUB HELPSFindings, photos and hours go straight onto the building.

At the customer's

I show the customer what was done, right on the screen, not just in a PDF.

FIREHUB HELPSJob done, with a summary and the status of the system.
Same work, three places

Documents should not just explain the past. They should show what needs to be done next

The technician takes the photo. The manager prices the fix. The customer should still understand how it all fits together.

What suppliers ask

VendorHub is not there to push prices down, but to make value visible

Is VendorHub a supplier portal?

No. A portal is the customer's way of collecting reports. VendorHub is the supplier's work platform.

Does it mean more work for the technician?

No. Findings, photos, deviations and hours are recorded where the work happens, and captured right the first time.

We already use a CRM

Keep what works. VendorHub can be used alongside it. VendorHub starts with the technical workflow.

Is this meant to push prices down?

No. When the customer understands why a fix is needed, it becomes easier to sell the right fix at the right price.

Better decisions based on actual work. Actual time, materials and work history provide a stronger basis for planning, pricing and resource allocation.

Do our customers have FireHub?

Not necessarily. VendorHub is used on the job either way. If the customer has FireHub, the documentation lands with their building. If they do not, they get the report as before.

The technician found three deviations. The customer ordered nothing

The report went to the customer. He read it, put it in the binder, and ordered nothing. Not because he did not care, but because the report did not say what he should do.

The report went to the customer. A good report can end as an attachment in an inbox, without connection to deviations, measures, or the next deadline. Not because he did not care, but because the report did not say what he should do.

VendorHub is the supplier's part of FireHub. The technician registers findings, photos and hours once, and the customer sees the work on their building.

  1. The technician registers the three deviations on the building, once, with a photo. Done before he has sat down in the van.

  2. The customer gets the same three deviations explained, with severity and deadline, and the quote for the repair attached. He taps yes from his phone, because it is now a decision and not a report.

  3. The job, the work and the documentation of the closure sit with the building. Next year the technician sees what was done, and the customer sees who did it.

  2. FireHub

New fire drawing, rev. C from March: wall removed on the ground floor, new hot buffet with a fire curtain. New contact person: Jacob, board chair. To consider on this job: the 2021 fire strategy does not mention the fire curtain. Should it be connected to the fire alarm system? Not decided. The owner and the fire engineer have been notified.

  3. Euro Fire

Hi Jacob. I see there is a new drawing. I will take a look at the curtain's control while I am at the detector, so you know what it takes. Arriving at 10.

  4. Storgata 15 owners' association

Good. The kitchen is there from 9.

  5. Euro Fire

Detector replaced. The curtain has its own control, not connected to the alarm. Photos and what it takes to connect it are filed.

  6. Filed to Storgata 15. The question of connection sits with the owner and the fire engineer.

The supplier worked from the right drawing from the first minute. No hours on the wrong basis, no report about a wall that no longer exists.

The workmanship was good. All that was missing was a path from the finding to the order.

The rules that apply to you
The starting point

You deliver the inspections and reports that owners and businesses need to document their duties

The rules

Inspection and maintenance under Forskrift om brannforebygging (Fire Prevention Regulations) § 5 rests with the owner, but builds on your professional work and the standards it is measured against. When the report is traceable, the owner can actually use it in their own documentation.

FireHub

FireHub receives the inspection report, links it to the right building and system, and turns the findings into tasks that can be closed and tracked, instead of a PDF that just sits there.

A FireHub partner is a supplier who works in VendorHub and delivers the documentation straight to the customer's building.

When risk and responsibility are made clear, the need for fire prevention speaks for itself
